The park of sculptures - gifts of Petrozavodsk sister-cities on Onega Lake Embankment

The collection of modern sculptures in the lake park in Petrozavodsk is a unique ezample of urban landscape solution.

Collection started in 1991, with the American city of Duluth presenting the first modern sculpture - the Fishermen, which gave start to a good tradition of exchanging sculptures between the sister-cities.

Today Onega lakepark is the most beloved place of citizen's leisure-time walks, as well as a space, perfecrtly fit for open-air activities, includng big city events and the City Day.
