Symbols of the City

Coat of arms

City of Petrozavodsk has its official symbols - coat of arms, flag and anthem. The coat of arms was approved by the decision of  Petrozavodsk City Council dated 19.04.91. The cannon balls and hammers symbolize the ore mining traditions and cannons production, which gave birth to the city's growth and development.
